Four modules

The same imagery, read four ways.

Ingestion happens once. Each module is a different question asked of the same pixels, so adding one costs processing rather than a new programme.

Fire weather, vegetation dryness, active hotspots and what sits downwind of them. For local authorities, emergency services and forest managers.

Air quality and exposure

Particulates and ozone against health thresholds, with the populations and institutions inside the affected area named rather than implied.

Vegetation

Canopy health, water stress and drought from spectral indices, tracked as a series so a decline is visible while it is still reversible.

Pluvial flood risk

Forecast rainfall against soil saturation and accumulated excess, to find where water will stand before it stands there.

The score

One number, and its parts.

A single 0 to 100 figure per unit is what makes a hundred territories comparable on one screen. It is also the easiest thing in the world to fake. So the score decomposes: every point traces back to the indicator that put it there, and the indicator back to the pass it was measured on.

Alerts and reporting

Before it is an incident.

History is kept, so an indicator approaching a published limit is visible as a trend rather than discovered as an event. The threshold, the method and the source are printed beside the alert. On short history the platform says the series is still accumulating instead of inventing a direction.
